Surf City Volleyball Club will begin training for the upcoming 2008/2009 USAVB/S.C.V.A. season on Sunday September 7th, 2008. The Surf City Volleyball Club offers the best training at the most reasonable prices for serious High School and Junior high boys’ volleyball players. This is an opportunity to be coached by some of Orange Counties most successful high school and collegiate volleyball coaches and players for a 4-5 month season, and the best way to get ready for your High School and Junior High seasons. Surf City has a great tradition with many regional and National Championships, and competes against other top club teams in numerous Southern California Volleyball Association Tournaments during the Fall/Winter season. The Fall/Winter season is also a training period for the Spring season, which culminates with the 2008 Junior Olympics at the beginning of July scheduled for Atlanta, Georgia. The Surf City Volleyball Club will field teams of 10-12 players, in each division. The divisions are 18 & under, 17’s, 16’s, 15’s, 14’s & 13’s. The Surf City Volleyball Club is entering its12th year of competition. We are looking forward to a very successful 2008-2009 season.
TRYOUT INFO FOR ALL PLAYERS-
There will be a $45.00 registration/ tryout fee for all players regardless if you are a returning player or not. This is the start of a new season for all players. This fee will be used for your SCVA registration. This fee allows you to participate in the tryouts/practices for your division for the first week. This fee is separate from the season fees.

14 and under (5th – 8th grade)
Sun 9/7 5 – 7 pm, Sun 9/14 5-7pm, Sun 9/21 5 – 7pm
15’s & 16’s (Grades 9 & 10)
SUN 9/7 5 -7pm, rest of tryout sched TBA
17’s, 18’s (11TH – 12th gr):
SUN 9/7 7-9pm, rest of tryout sched TBA

Total cost for the season is $1800.00. This includes all coaching fees, practices and gym fees, all local tournaments, 2 shorts, Game jersey, 2 practice T-shirts, and a Surf City Sweatshirt. There is a separate $45 fee for registration and tryouts.
There are three different payment options to choose from:
Option #1- Pay the full amount on sign up day and save $50
Option #2- Pay $600.00 on sign up day, $600 by 10/15, and $600 by December 1st.
Option #3- Pay $900 at sign - ups, &900.00 by December 1st.
